Returns Policy

RETURNS SIMPLE AS 123

We believe returns should be as simple as placing an order and less hassle for the customer and for us.

1. No quibbles 30 days returns

If you do not like the item for any reason please return it to us in the condition received WITHIN 30 days of order date for a full refund including standard postage. Customer pays to return the item to us. NOTE: Original postage is refunded to a maximum of £2.99. If you paid for Express Delivery the postage refund will be £2.99 as the difference went towards sending the item with Express Delivery as per order.

2. Received the wrong item or item damaged on arrival

If you receive an item that does not match what you had ordered or is damaged when received please send us an email help@swankyswans.co.uk along with an image of the product / fault. We will provide a FREE Returns label to send the item back to us and offer the quickest solution possible.

3. We process returns within 1-2 business days of receipt into our office. If you have not received your refund / exchange within a reasonable time please contact us with order / returns proof of postage so we can investigate.

NOTE: Please ensure you include order number and reason for return. (You can find the order number in the order notification emails we send you). If we receive an item back without any information where we cannot determine the sender this may delay your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless we have provided you with a free returns label.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £40 / €40 / $40, you should consider using a tracked shipping service or receive proof of postage. It is your job to ensure the item is received by us. We cannot refund / process a return where we have not received the item back.

 

Further Returns Information
We offer a generous 30 days Returns policy. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

If you are a customer in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund for most products that you buy from us online. If you would like to cancel an order because you have changed your mind, you must tell us no later than 14 days after the date you receive the last of your items and you must return your items to us within 14 days of notifying us that you would like to cancel your order.
We provide 30 days from order date as this is reasonable time to receive an item and return it.
We reserve the right to refuse any item returned to us after 30 days or this may be sent back at your cost.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Partial Refund
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If for any reason your return is rejected we will email you regarding this.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at help@swankyswans.co.uk quoting your order number and returns proof of postage.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

 

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at help@swankyswans.co.uk with the problem (defect / problem images will be useful) for returns instructions.

 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
